It’s always wonderful when you can truly let your imagination go wild especially if it’s at DISNEYLAND! For this stagescape, I sat in the grand ballroom at the Disneyland hotel and wondered how to make this stage resemble Disney and the fairytales that come with it. The bride’s only request was that she wanted something new and different. As I looked around in the ballroom I put my head down and stared at the carpet and said what about swirls? Huge, life size swirls? I saw the carpeting at the Disneyland hotel and it clicked, it was covered in swirls. Sometimes inspiration is right under your nose, literally, you just have to challenge your self and let your imagination go wild! The stagescape consisted of four eight-foot swirls that were custom built in the 2create studio. It took 750 roses to fill each swirl, bringing the grand total to 3,000 roses just to fill the swirls alone!Different colored roses were used to create shadows on the swirls to mimic a painting. We had two centerpiece options for the 85 tables. The first was an 18’ by 18’ box made in Indonesia, with an urn in the middle. The second was an 18’ by 18’ box with a mountain effect of flowers.
